Duration: Full Day
Less than one hour from Cuenca lays Gualaceo. The town is situated on the
banks of the Gualaceo River in a subtropical valley. Both Gualaceo and
Chordeleg are well-known for their handicrafts and artisan work.
Chordeleg is a pre-Inca town with artisans of every description: Panama
hat and basket weavers, embroiderers, potters, and jewelers.
The pre-Inca ruins in Chordeleg, including an enormous snake shaped
stone walkway near the entrance to the town. The tour provides a fascinating
